***Pre-Post natal*** "Core Competence: Pre & Post natal pilates instructor Workshop" is a Professional Development opportunity designed for Pilates instructors seeking evidence- informed tools for safety supporting pre and post partum clients. You will explore pregnancy + postpartum anatomy, trimester- based modifications, pelvic floor and breath mechanics, contraindications, cueing strategies and postpartum core recovery progressions. This course blends lecture- based learning with practical teaching labs and programming case scenarios to ensure instructors leave confident, prepared and ready to apply safe, effective Pilates strategies for Pregnancy and beyond.

I began my career by becoming a BCRPA Group Fitness Leader. This was my first step forward to finding consistent employment I love!

After decades of weight training and leading thousands of group fitness classes, I turned to Pilates after struggling with chronic pain from several serious injuries to my neck and back. This included 3 crushed vertebrae - compression fractures: T 6- T 9. Finally, a means to exercise that didn't create more pain and inflammation. This inspired me to pursue BCRPA and STOTT Pilates certifications because I wanted to share this excellent low impact movement- healing modality with others. Recently I started strongcore to help individuals live pain-free happy lives.

Typical pay lower mainland $32.84 -42.23 /hr
Plus 12%-16% in lieu of benefits
Paid set up and planning included
Municipalities are the highest rate of pay
Reliable paycheck + Pension ( sometimes)
Big Box Gyms like Gold's - contract work 40- 60$ an hour - get experience + exposure
Private - Free-lance work - up to 150$ per hour
Recommend a blend of all 3 = 50- 85k / yr
